The Confirmation preparation process is a two-year program open to high school youth entering the ninth grade and who have received Baptism and Eucharist. The earliest they may be confirmed is during the Easter season of their sophomore year. Each student must register and provide all necessary forms – family information, permission slips, conduct contract and a copy of Baptismal and First Holy Communion certificates. All students preparing to be confirmed must regularly attend Sunday Masses and Holy Days of Obligation with their families. In addition, all students must attend a weekend retreat during their second year of preparation. All Confirmation requirements are contained in the registration packet available in the summer (June-August) in the Faith Formation Office.
