Faith Formation Program Registration

Registration for Faith Formation at OLG for the 2026-27 year is now closed. This page serves as a resource and reminder for those who have already registered.


All the relevant information can be found below! Please be sure to read carefully, as information varies depending upon the age of the registration. All of this information applies only to the 2026-27 year.

Registration will be online this year. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Diocese of Orange, there will be an online registration discount of $50 per registrant until August 1st.


 If you need assistance registering online, join us this evening, July 1st, anytime from 4pm-8pm in the Coleman Center and we will assist you! Be sure to bring an electronic device (laptop preferred), all certificates from sacraments already received by the registrant, and payment (cash, card, or check).


For adults and for children (grades 1-8) registration will be open from July 1st to August 1st.


For teens (grades 9-12), an inquiry form will open on Monday, June 9th until August 1st. Inquirers will fill out the form to schedule a meeting with the Coordinator for Youth Ministry and Confirmation. During this meeting, you will discuss how to complete registration for Faith Formation.


Year 1 High School Faith Formation is now waitlist only.

We will continue accepting inquiry forms; however, no additional Year 1 family meetings will be scheduled during July. Families who submit an inquiry form will be placed on the waitlist and contacted if a space becomes available. Please note that space is limited for all programs based on space available, and student to catechist ratios. As such, space may run out prior to August 1st. Sign up early before spots fill up!


To register, you will need to upload each registrant's Baptismal Certificate and first Holy Communion Certificate (as applicable). If the registrant has not been Baptized, we will follow up to ask for a copy of the birth certificate.

  • Faith Formation for Children (grades 1st-8th)

    STEPS TO REGISTER:

    If you are registering two people, please use the code DIOCESE502. If you are registering three people, please use the code DIOCESE503


    All children in grades 1st - 8th are invited to register for the First Communion prepation program. 


    Preparation for first Holy Communion is 2 years in length, and requires attendance by the children and the parents. 


    Upon registration, you will have the opportunity to choose either the Monday evening class (6pm - 7:30pm) or the Tuesday evening class (6pm - 7:30pm). These options are dependent on avaialbility.


    A complete calendar will be posted prior to July 1st for your review prior to registering your child. 


    Please note that if your child has not yet been Baptized, he/she will still participate in the First Communion program with his/her peers. We will reach out to schedule a meeting with you and your child to give you more information about additional requirements for those that are seeking to be Baptized! 

    • Registration will be online.

    • Registration Fee is $175 for those registering for the first year of prepartion and $200 for those registering for the second year of preparation.

  • Faith Formation for teens (grades 9th-12th)

    Registration for high school faith formation 2026-2027 is now closed. If you have any questions, please email Solei at socegueda@olglahabra.org. 

  • Adults (ages 18+ who have finished high school)

    Whether you are seeking to receive Confirmation, first Communion, Baptism, or all three, we're happy to help! 


    The preparation process for adults is about 9 months to a year, depending on each person's situation. 


    Classes take place twice a week: Sundays at OLG from 11:30am - 12:30pm and Wednesdays online from 7pm - 8:30pm. Both classes are required. 


    Currently, we only offer classes in English. If you are seeking classes in Spanish, please reach out and we can refer you to parishes that offer classes for adults in Spanish. 


    If you have not yet been Baptized, there will be additional requirements, including attending the 10am Mass at OLG each Sunday. 

    • Registration will be online.

    • Registration Fee is $150
