Kimberly was born and raised in Victorville, California. While she was in high school, Kimberly became acquainted with the Catholic faith through a Filipino youth ministry, Youth for Family & Life, which led her to the decision to convert to Catholicism at the age of 16.

Kimberly moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to study at UC Berkeley, where she graduated with a BA in Ethnic Studies. In college, Kimberly dedicated herself to on-campus ministry as the vice president of the Thomistic Institute at Berkeley and as the Executive Co-Chair of the Student Ministry Team at the Newman center. It was during this time that Kimberly encountered the depth of the Tradition of the Church, and became motivated to continue in the pursuit of this Truth.

After graduating college, Kimberly began working at the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology (DSPT), a graduate school and center of studies for the Dominican Order, as the Director of Student Services and Financial Aid. In this role, Kimberly served lay students and Dominican friars in formation by building up the school community through planning school events and providing resources to students. In addition to her work at DSPT, she audited classes on Moral Theology and Sacred Scripture.

Kimberly’s formal education in Ethnic Studies in conjunction with her education through the Thomistic Institute and DSPT have uniquely positioned her to enter into dialogue with various contemporary worldviews, an endeavor that she hopes to embark on throughout her life so that, like St. Paul, she might "become all things to all people in order that some might be saved" (1 Corinthians 9:22).

Kimberly moved to Orange County last summer and has spent the last year working as the part-time Communications Coordinator at DSPT and as the part-time Executive Assistant at the St. Francis Xavier Lay Missionary Society, a Catholic apostolate dedicated to spreading the Gospel in Asia.

Kimberly is very honored to serve this community as the Director of Evangelization and Communications, and is excited to journey towards heaven together through faith formation, "Catholics Invade the Bar", "El Mercado del Niño Jesús", "Vespers and Vespers", and more!
