Serve on Sundays

Join us every Sunday as we come together to celebrate the Mass, the most important prayer of all! Your talents and abilities can contribute to creating a powerful and meaningful experience for every individual who joins us each week.   • Ushers and Ministers of Hospitality: Ushers and Ministers of Hospitality welcome our parish family as we gather as the Body of Christ and ensure a hospitable and safe environment throughout the Mass
  • Music – Spanish Choir (8 am Sunday Masses): The Spanish Choir leads and enhances our sung prayer.
  • Altar Servers: Servers assist the priest in the celebration of the Mass.
  • Lectors: Lectors proclaim God’s Word.
  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Communion Minister): Communion Ministers share the Body of Christ.
  • Ministers of Care to the Sick and Homebound: Ministers of Care to the Sick and Homebound take the Body of Christ to our brothers and sisters who are sick or homebound and unable to come to Mass.

Young Adult Ministry

The Young Adult Ministry at OLG aims to joyfully provide a holistic Catholic formation beyond confirmation where young adults continue to be lifelong learners of Christ. We see our Church as a body of Christ, with members working together to forms our men and women intellectually, communally, spiritually, and apostolically.

Couples For Christ Family Ministries

As a Family Ministry, we are Kids, Youths, Singles, married Couples, Handmaids, and Servants--"Families in the Holy Spirit Renewing the Face of the Earth."  Our Global Mission is "Building the church of the home and the church of the poor."  We are here for the renewal and strengthening of family life, and to fulfill our primary vocation of raising up families under the lordship of Jesus Christ and for the service of the Kingdom of God.


Membership is completely free, but you have to complete a formation process of The Basic Truths about Christianity, The Authentic Christian Life, and Living a Spirit-filled Life, namely, the Christian Life Program (CLP).  Once you have completed the CLP, you may join any of our family ministries--CFC-Kids (4-12 year olds), CFC-Youth (Teenagers to 21-years old), Singles For Christ (22-40 y.o.'s - Great for those that have finished OLG's Life Teen programs!), Couples For Christ (married couples), Handmaids of the Lord (41+ y.o. women attending events alone), and Servants of the Lord (41+ y.o. men attending events alone).  We are over 1-million members in over 120 countries, have been around since 1981, have Pontifical Right, and an office in the Vatican, that as a member of Couples For Christ Family Ministries, you can go and visit!  Come and make dear friends for life as you learn more about God's will with a loving community of people, in service to your family and others, while participating in the life and mission of the Catholic Church.

The Divine Mercy Ministry

The Divine Mercy Ministry of OLG is a lay organization whose mission is to promote the authentic Divine Mercy and devotion to the parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church community and to deepen the spiritual growth of its members and parishioners. We meet once a month, every Second Saturday, from 9 am to 12 pm, Room 9 School Building.  We study the fundamentals of the Divine Mercy devotion based on the diary of St. Faustina Kowalska, sacred scriptures , Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the magisterium. We are an intercessory prayer group that pleads for God’s mercy for the whole world.

Knights of Columbus

The OLG/La Habra Knights of Columbus, Joseph Scott Council 7142 is part of an International organization that was formed over a century ago, with principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity.  Our local Council is extremely active in our OLG parish life, including Pro-Life and other social justice endeavors and social activities. 


Legion of Mary

Our Mission

The Legion of Mary is a community of believers who meet weekly to pray together and go forth to evangelize for our Lord. Like the apostles, we work in pairs to assist our priests as the hands of Mary.

The Legion of Mary is the largest lay apostolic organization in the Catholic church with more than 11 million members in almost every country on Earth. Founded in Ireland in 1921, it has been active in the U.S. since 1931. It has been endorsed by the last 8 Popes and by Vatican II.

St. Paul Mission Circle

The St. Paul Mission Circle is a group of Catholic women and men who donate their time, talent, and treasure to support missionaries stationed worldwide, some as far as Kenya, and others as close as La Habra. The Mission Circle also operates the Gift Shop of religious goods at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, which is open before and after Saturday and Sunday masses.

El fin de semana del encuentro matrimonial mundial es una experiencia positiva y personal que ofrese a parejas casadas la oportunidad de aprender una tecnica de communicacion amorosa que ellos pueden usar para el resto de sus vidas. Es una oportunidad para ber profundamente dentro de su relacion y con Dios. Es un tiempo para compartir los sentimientos, esperanzas y suenos entre ellos. 


El enfasis del encuentro matrimonial mundial es la communicacion entre esposo y esposa. El fin de semana provee un ambiente tranquilo para que las parejas empleen tiempo juntos, fuere de las distracciones y tenciones de la vida diaria, mientras los alentamos a que se enfoquen en ellos mismos y su relacion. 


No es un retiro, clinica matrimonial, grupo de sencibilidad o un substituto para terapia, es una via dirigida a revitalizar el matrimonio. Es verdaderamente un programa de enriquesimiento matrimonial.
