My name is Sandra Morales, a graduate of Fullerton College, where I earned a degree in Paralegal Studies and Computer Science. My decision to stay at home with my first child was the best decision I made. Having 2 more children made that decision even sweeter.

I joined the RCIA program, now known as OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults), and received the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation. As my understanding of my faith deepened, my love for God grew so profoundly that I felt compelled to share it with others. The Holy Spirit ignited the passion to serve as a catechist.

For the past fifteen years, I have served as a catechist in both the Faith Formation and Confirmation programs. I have enjoyed every part of it and now with the use of Pathways Sacrament Preparation from Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries, my passion to help plant the seed of faith has only increased. Nothing is more important than to be in the Glory of God at the end of our journey.

Also, distributing communion to the homebound and at care facilities as an Extraordinary Minister of Care has been a privilege. This ministry has allowed me to be a part of the lives of these communicants and witness their heartfelt joy in receiving the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

Moreover, with the support of our OLG parishioners and donors, I've been part of fundraising efforts for the La Habra Life Center, which helps moms and their unborn babies.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, La Habra is my home away from home, and the OLG community has become family, however, without the support of my domestic church, I couldn’t do what I do at OLG.
